Choosing Photos

You should try to choose photographs of good quality. We are able to make some adjustments to your photographs, however photographs that are out of focus or severely battered will not view as well.

You can choose photographs up to the size of 8 1/2 x 11.

Generally speaking, photos of large groups are not a good choice. The photo will only be displayed for seconds which makes it difficult to take in the whole photo because you are too busy looking at each person in the photo and then the photo is gone! If it is a very special photo and you want it included, please indicate the important people in the group and we will do our best to focus in on them with the pan and zoom effect.

Slideshows Are More Than Just Photos...
We can scan many items other than photographs for inclusion into your show. The item must be flat and measure 8.5" x 14" or less. Possible items include: drawings from children, diplomas, awards, letters, programs, etc. If you have something that you want to include but you are not sure if it will work, please contact us for help. We can also insert short video clips into your slideshow!

Slideshows of Memories will handle your materials with the utmost care and consideration, however we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during the transportation of your materials to us. For that reason, we encourage you to properly package your order, and perhaps even create duplicates if possible and sending us the original. It is also recommended that you ship your package to us using a reliable and trackable shipping service (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, etc.). We will do the same when sending everything back to you.
